Last Sunday evening, Lubbock Junior Academy held its second eighth-grade graduation ceremony in honor of De’Michael Coleman-Thompson who has been a student at LJA for the past two and one-half years.
All the LJA students were in attendance to participate in the processional and recessional marches. Pastor Leroy Green gave the graduation address, and our principal, Miss Zimmermann, offered the dedicatory prayer. Derral Reeve, Texico Conference Educational Superintendent, presented De’Michael’s diploma. After the graduation service, guests joined De’Michael for a reception in the Church Parlor.
Thank you for your support and prayers for Lubbock Junior Academy and for De’Michael who is now spending a week in Rome, Italy as a guest of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Please continue to pray for him.
Susan Zimmermann
