December Sabbath 11 o’clock Worship Schedule:

December 1, I will share a message entitled “Dirt” okay, it is more interesting than it sounds, I

promise.

I am looking forward to December 8 when our Lubbock Junior Academy students will conduct

the entire worship service. Their program theme will be “Gifts of Christmas”.

On December 15 the message will be, “Christmas Presence.” “Behold, a virgin shall be with

child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being

interpreted is, God with us.” (Matthew 1:23)

December 22 is going to be a very wonderful Sabbath I know you will not want to miss. The

Grace Notes Choir will present a special musical program that will be sure to bring a blessing to

each and every one that attends.

The Last Sabbath of the Month December 29, we will welcome a distinguished guest speaker,

Professor Vaughn James. Dr. James is the Judge Robert H. Bean Professor and Director of the

Tax Clinic at Texas Tech University School of Law here in Lubbock. An ordained minister and

former Religious Liberty Director of the New York Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, he is

currently a member of the Board of Experts of the International Religious Liberty Association

(the public arm of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists’ Public Affairs and

Religious Liberty Department). He is also an author, poet, musician, and recording artist. Above

all, he is a sinner saved by grace who, like me, loves to preach the Gospel.

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” Philippians 4:4.

Please pray for us as we pray for you.

Sincerely,

Pastor Jeremy McCombs
