Happy Sabbath, church family!

What a blessing it is to welcome each of you to the house of the Lord on this beautiful Sabbath morning! Whether you are a long time member or visiting us for the first time, we are delighted that you have chosen to worship with us today.

This Sabbath is especially meaningful as we celebrate our Youth and Young Adult Sabbath! Today, we have the wonderful opportunity to recognize, encourage, and support the next generation of leaders in our church. Our young people are not simply the future of the church; they are an essential part of the church today. God has given them unique gifts, talents, and abilities to make a difference in His kingdom.

I am especially excited to welcome Kelechi Ajuzieogu, affectionately known as KC, as our speaker this morning. KC is one of our very own young adults and a student at Texas Tech University. It brings me great joy to see young people who are pursuing their education while also making themselves available to serve the Lord. My prayer is that God will continue to guide KC’s steps, strengthen his faith, and use him mightily for His glory.

KC’s message today is titled “Faith Without Works Is Dead,” and our Scripture reading is found in Hebrews 11:6. This passage reminds us that without faith it is impossible to please God. But genuine faith is more than simply believing that God exists. True faith transforms the way we live, the decisions we make, and the way we treat others. Our faith should be visible not only in what we say but also in what we do.

As we worship together today, I want to encourage our entire church family to continue investing in our youth and young adults. Pray for them, encourage them, mentor them, and most importantly, give them opportunities to serve. Sometimes all a young person needs is someone who believes in them and reminds them that God has a purpose for their life.

To our youth and young adults, never underestimate what God can accomplish through you. You do not have to wait until you are older to make an impact for His kingdom. God can use you right now, exactly where you are. May today’s service inspire all of us to live out our faith boldly and faithfully.

Happy Sabbath, and may God bless our church family!
