Happy Sabbath, Church Family!

What a blessing it is to welcome you to another beautiful Sabbath here at the Lubbock Seventh-day Adventist Church! This weekend is especially meaningful because, after much prayer, preparation, and anticipation, our evangelistic series is finally here!

We are excited to welcome our guest speaker, Pastor Arturo Quintero, who has come to share with us the powerful truths found in God’s Word.

Last night, we officially began our Bible Prophecy Seminars at 6:00PM, and what a tremendous blessing it was! By God’s grace, our opening presentation was a wonderful success. It was encouraging to see people coming together, opening their Bibles, and seeking a deeper understanding of God’s message for these last days. I truly believe that the Lord has something special in store for us through out this weekend. And the blessing continues today!

Pastor Quintero will be sharing three more powerful presentations. Our first session begins at 9:30 AM, followed by another message during our 11:00 AM worship service. Then, after enjoying a wonderful potluck fellowship together, we will gather oncemore for the final presentation of our evangelistic series.

I want to encourage every one of you to take full advantage of these opportunities. Bible prophecy is not simply about understanding future events or identifying prophetic symbols. At its very heart, Bible prophecy is about Jesus Christ. It reveals His love, His faithfulness, His sovereignty over history, and His wonderful promise to return for His people.

In Revelation 1:3, the Bible reminds us, “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein.” What a beautiful promise! God has a special blessing for those who take the time to study His prophetic Word.

My prayer is that these Bible Prophecy Seminars will be more than just another church event. I pray that they will be a spiritual turning point for someone who needs hope, encouragement, or a renewed relationship with Jesus.

To everyone who has worked behind the scenes, invited friends, prayed, prepared meals, or helped make this weekend possible, thank you! Your dedication to God’s work is deeply appreciated.

Church family, may we open our hearts to what the Holy Spirit wants to teach us today. Enjoy these presentations, invite someone to join you, and above all, allow God’s Word to draw you closer to Jesus.

May God bless each of you this Sabbath!
With love and prayers,
-Pastor Raul Alvarez
