Dear Church Family,

I hope this letter finds you blessed and in health. Scripture tells us that Faith is the key to unlocking the blessings of Heaven. In Hebrews 11 we learn that without faith it is impossible to please God. I long to both please God and receive His blessings. Hebrews 11 also lists men and women who had great faith, men and women who pleased God and who received His blessings. When I see how our precious Savior guides and blesses those who trust Him, my faith grows. This is the motivation for our upcoming series of sermons and studies entitled Heroes of Faith. Hebrews 11 merely mentions these Heroes and what they did, but we will study their stories in depth, learning from each how we can better please our perfect Savior. Please join me each Sabbath, and also take time during the week, to explore the stories of these men and woman of faith as we all journey closer to Jesus.

September’s 11:00 a.m. Sabbath Worship Schedule:

Sabbath Morning, September 7th, we will be launching our Heroes of Faith series with a study of, “Abel, the Righteous Shepherd.” Abel’s story has much we can learn about being righteous servants of God.

Sabbath, September 14th, we will look at, “Enoch the Pleasing Prophet.” I am looking forward to learning more of how to please Jesus from this great man’s life. We all hope one day to walk with Jesus into the Courts of Heaven.

Sabbath, September 21st, “Noah, the Preaching Sailor” will be our focus of study. There is a good deal we can learn from this great man of faith, beyond how to build a big boat and survive a flood. I pray you will join me in this voyage of learning.

Sabbath, September 28th, we will begin looking at the life of Abraham. It will take more than one week to study this friend of God. We will begin this Journey of Faith with “Abraham, the Sojourner.”

I am looking forward to worshiping with you, my Lubbock church family, in the Sabbaths ahead! Please pray for me as I pray for you!

God’s richest blessings,

Pastor Jeremy
