Happy Sabbath, church family!
What a joy and privilege it is to gather
together in the house of the Lord on this
beautiful Sabbath day. Whether you
worship with us every week or are visiting
for the first time, we are truly grateful that
you are here. I pray that today you will
experience God’s presence, hear His
voice, and leave encouraged by His Word.
Today is an especially meaningful Sabbath because we are
celebrating Youth Sabbath. Our young people will be leading
different parts of the worship service, using the gifts and
talents God has given them. It is a tremendous blessing to see
them willing to serve, stand before the church, and take an
active role in the mission of God.
This morning, one of our young members, Christian
Grellmann, will share the message God has placed upon his
heart. I pray that we will listen attentively and with open hearts
to what the Lord has given Christian for us today. Although the
messenger may be young, the message comes from the
timeless Word of God. The Lord can use anyone who is willing
to surrender to Him.
The apostle Paul told Timothy, “Let no one despise your
youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct,
in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12). God has
always called young people to accomplish great things for His
kingdom. David was young when he faced Goliath. Samuel
was young when he learned to recognize God’s voice. Timothy
was young when he became a leader in the early church. Their
age did not limit what God could do through their surrendered
lives.
As a church, we have the sacred responsibility of
encouraging, mentoring, and praying for the next generation.
Our young people are not only the future of the church; they
are an essential part of the church today. They need
opportunities to lead, grow, make mistakes, discover their
gifts, and experience the joy of serving Jesus.
Christian, thank you for being willing to answer God’s call and
share His Word with us. To all our young people participating
today, please know that your church family loves you,
believes in you, and is praying for you.
May this Youth Sabbath remind us that God is raising up a new
generation to proclaim the gospel, serve others, and prepare
the world for the soon return of Jesus. Let us support them
wholeheartedly and listen for God’s voice through them today.
Happy Sabbath, and may the Lord richly bless our worship
together!
