Roll out the red carpet! The Lubbock Junior Academy students started school this past Monday. Patriotic music played while the young scholars were cheered and welcomed to the first day of school. The sidewalk leading into the school was lined with helium balloons swaying back and
forth while the students walked the red carpet into the classroom.
Several Lubbock Church members also lined the sidewalk and gave each child a rousing greeting. The first day of school is a special day and we wanted our students to know how proud we are of them. There was even the paparazzi taking pictures of kids. Our church members treated the students like VIPs. All of the adults were invited to enter the classroom for prayer. Young students held hands with older church members and we prayed for God’s special blessing on our school.
