Our school is participating in the Seventh-day Adventist Divisionwide health event; Adventist InStep for Life!

http://www.adventistsinstepforlife.org/ Each student has a pedometer and a chart on which to daily record how many steps they take. It’s interesting to watch them check their pedometers to see how many steps they have taken.

Our goal is to be in tip-top shape for “Let’s Move” day on September 25. We have been gaining strength in our legs by powerwalking, walking backwards, marching, and walking one mile around the neighborhood.

Each student is also working toward receiving two walking awards. One award from the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists and one from the United States Presidential Healthy Lifestyle. We will continue to keep walking and keeping track of our walking steps for many weeks to come.

We invite you to join us as we participate on September 25 and “Let’s Move” to a healthy lifestyle by being a walker for life!
