The students at Lubbock Junior Academy participated in a customary Thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday, November 15. However, it is more than just a mere custom. It is a time for us to rejoice in the fact that we have each other and to practice good table manners.

Students are encouraged to talk about their blessings and enjoy themselves while enjoying the meal. Our delicious meal consisted of Special-K loaf, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes with gravy and cake for dessert.

Each student had place mats designed with Thanksgiving crossword puzzles, coloring pages and mazes.

Someday soon, we’ll be sitting around a much bigger table giving our words of gratitude to our precious Savior.
