Dear Church Members,
Our school needs your help. Next week we will be packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.
Would you be willing to purchase items so we can pack them in the shoeboxes? The Students love doing this service project. We need these items before November 16.
We plan to deliver these shoeboxes to the delivery center the afternoon of November 16.
You can help us by purchasing any amount of the following gifts for our shoeboxes. School Supplies – pens, pencils and sharpeners, crayons or markers, stamps and ink pad sets, writing pads or paper, solar calculators, coloring and picture books.
Toys – small cars, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yos, jump ropes, small Etch A Sketch, toys that light up or make noise (with extra batteries), slinky etc.
Hygiene Items – toothbrush, toothpaste, mild bar soap (in a plastic bag), combs, washcloths, etc.
Other – t-shirts, socks, ball caps, sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries)
Do Not Include – used or damaged items, war-related items such as toy guns, knives or military figures; chocolate or food; out-of-date candy, liquids or lotions, medications or vitamins, breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers or aerosol cans.
We also need cash to mail the shoeboxes as it costs $7 to mail each box. Please leave your donation in the church office or at the school.
