It’s always good to celebrate when a tough challenge is accomplished. The challenge for the students at Lubbock Junior Academy was to accurately answer 90 basic addition fact flashcards in three minutes or less. All of our students proved instant recognition to these important facts.
The celebration was a pizza party! We enjoyed Cheese, Black-Olive, Mushroom, Pineapple, and Spinach-Alfredo Pizzas. Everyone was stuffed with several slices of the fresh, hot treat. Their brains are also being challenged to do the same thing with subtraction, multiplication and division flashcards. They have almost met the challenge. Most of the students have completed all four of these tasks. Students are happy they are progressing and able to be the best God wants them to be.
