There is excitement in the air at Lubbock Junior Academy. We have been practicing for our Christmas program for three weeks. Whenever there has been a spare minute, LJA students have been learning their speaking parts.

Our Christmas program would not be complete without singing some Christmas songs. Even before Thanksgiving Break we have been singing “Joy to the World” and “When He Came.” It will be a blessing to share the miraculous birth of Jesus, that our blessed Lord is our strength and that He hears and answers our prayers.

Tonight, at 6 p.m., LJA students will march into the sanctuary singing, “Joy to the World.” You are invited to sing with them. Many scriptures will be recited, along with meaningful and encouraging words. Sharing Christmas with children is a unique privilege and extraordinary opportunity.

After our program, you are invited to come to a baked potato and hot chocolate fundraiser. There will also be a few activities for the younger set.

Please come and celebrate the birth of our Savior and the Joy of Christmas!
