This has been a busy and exciting time of the year for Lubbock Junior Academy students. It was a challenge to learn all of our parts for our Christmas program which we pray was a blessing to you.

We’ve helped decorate our room and our weekly art class is dealing with special winter drawings and craft projects. For morning worships we’ve had special Christmas stories, mostly from author and English professor, Joe Wheeler, emphasizing that it is more blessed to give than receive.

One of our students, Jerry Listo, put into practice a concept he’s heard stressed at home and at school. This week while in a store he found a roll of bills and with
no hesitation he turned it in to the store management. We thank God for the honesty Jerry exhibited.

May we all remember the real reason Christmas is celebrated is to honor the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
