Dear Church Family,

I hope this year finds you blessed and in good health. 2015 stretches out before us, clean, fresh, and full of wonderful opportunity. I’m excited to see where the Lord’s hand will lead in 2015. I believe we are in the final hours before we see Christ’s glorious return. We are told of the early and latter rains and that just before His return, there will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit like never before. It gives me chills thinking about what it might be like. Don’t you want to be part of it, to see His glory? Let us diligently seek to be vessels ready to be filled and used to the glory and honor of heaven. 2015 may be the last New Year before time is complete. Whether it is the last or not, I am praying it will be the greatest, most Holy Spirit filled year of our life to date. I cannot wait to see what God can and will do through our Lubbock Church Family, Happy New Year!

Sabbath, January 3, we explored Spiritual Gifts. What amazing plans does God have for you? How has He equipped you to be an essential and “Exquisite Element” of His plan? Don’t let the Devil deceive you for a minute that you are not important to God or His de- sign!

Next Sabbath, January 10, Pastor Bill Kasper, our Texico Conference Ministerial Director, will be our Guest Speaker. His message “One Man’s Trash” will be drawn from II Corinthians 4:16-18. I’m con- fident we will be blessed, and I look forward to sharing this Sabbath with you! Don’t forget, there will be a fellowship lunch following the service.

Please join me Sabbath, January 17, in a vital study. II Corinthians 10 and Ephesians 6 both tell us we are in a spiritual war. In this war there is no such thing as neutrality. To be victorious in 2015 you’ll need to know the “Essentials of Warfare.”

Our Pathfinder Club will be front and center for our Worship Service on January 24. You will be blessed from the posting of the colors to the benediction as you witness our youth leading and proclaim- ing “We Are The Pathfinders Strong”.

On the last Sabbath of January, we will be blessed with another Guest Speaker, Darrel Reeve, our Texico Conference Educational Director. Darrel has dedicated his life to service in the education and training of our youth. I am sure we will be blessed as he shares this passion Christ has laid on his heart.

Please pray for me as I pray for you!

God’s richest blessings,
Pastor Jeremy McCombs
