Pastor Phil Robertson

This weekend we celebrate Father’s Day.
We know this day as a special time
to reflect on the meaning and blessing
of having, and being, fathers. Some
of us have wonderful memories of the
value and blessing of an earthly father
while some of us may have difficulty
reconciling our own experience with
the picture of God as our loving
Heavenly Father.

Whether we approach this day with excitement and a loving
desire to give thanks for our dad, or if we are still waiting for
the warm embrace of a father’s love, may we never forget
that our Heavenly Father is faithful, loving, always present,
and He is absolutely crazy about every one of us.
Whatever our individual experience, may each of us
remember that we have been created in the likeness
of the One Who saw all that He had made and
declared, “it is very good!”

Father’s Day Quotes

“The most important thing a father can do for
his children is to love their mother”.

“My dad didn’t tell me how to live life, he just lived,
and let me watch him do it.”

“It is a wise father that knows his own child.”

“God is the Father Who is always home.”

“A father is a man who expects his son to be
as good a man as he meant to be.”
