LJA will blossom into a Kindergarten
through 9th-grade Christian Academy,
maintaining the mission of
Building a better world
~ one child at a time.
All students in this stage of their educational development will be welcome and are encouraged to enroll.
At LJA students will experience a blend of Spiritual, Mental, Physical and Social development. LJA Students hear a character building story and share prayer requests in worship time every morning. Critical thinking and epistemic development is blended throughout the curriculum.
Ellen White, on page 101 in “Be Like Jesus,” penned this for parents to consider in the education of their children:
“Those who are striving for an education in the sciences, but who have not learned the lesson that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, are working helplessly and hopelessly, questioning the reality of everything. They may acquire an education in the sciences, but unless they gain a knowledge of the Bible and a knowledge of God, they are without true wisdom.
True wisdom is infinitely above the comprehension of the worldly wise. The hidden wisdom, which is Christ formed within, the hope of glory, is a wisdom high as heaven.”
