There are many rewards that come from being a teacher. It is so amazing when we see the spark that comes in a child’s eyes the moment they understand a challenging concept, or when we hear children’s laughter as they talk and interact with each other.
This past week the 7th and 8th graders have been learning about the significance of Nebuchadnezzar’s image as described in Daniel 2. We regularly use resources in addition to the textbook to help our students master each concept. However, it was a joy to use the book, What We Believe: Prophecies of Daniel for Teens, by Seth Pierce as an additional resource, as Seth was one of Dr. Simmons former college students. She acknowledged that the book was well written and made the interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s image very clear. Truly it is a blessing to see students use their God-given talents to further His gospel.
Please keep praying for our students that they will use their talents for Jesus in service for all humankind.
