LJA has a scrap paper box container in each classroom. Although most of the paper has already been used, the back of the paper is still blank, and can be used to do rough draft, figure out math problems, and do fun creative drawings, etc. Students find this scrap paper very useful.
The paper often comes from my home printer where mistakes have been made. Occasionally, a friend drops off computer paper that for some reason is no longer useful to her. Whatever the source or condition, it still has value.
Each student is encouraged to know that God loves them, and even though they might make mistakes and feel like scrap paper, He loves them and will use them in wonderful ways if they will just let Him.
