Welcome to Worship!
Dear Church Family,

We are so glad that you have
decided to worship with us on this
beautiful Sabbath! As we gather
together in fellowship, prayer, and
praise, we are reminded of the
blessings that come from our shared faith in Jesus
Christ. Today, we have the opportunity to reflect on
our rich history as Seventh-day Adventists, a journey
that began with a small group of believers seeking to
understand God’s Word more fully.

Our church was founded in the mid-19th century,
rooted in the fervent belief in the imminent return of
Jesus Christ. The Great Disappointment of 1844 led
many to reevaluate their understanding of Scripture,
culminating in the formation of a movement
dedicated to the teachings of the Bible, particularly
the Sabbath commandment. Pioneers like William
Miller, James and Ellen White, Joseph Bates, and
others played pivotal roles in shaping our beliefs and
establishing the foundations of our church.

As we look back at our history, we see how God has
guided us through challenges and triumphs. From
the establishment of our first schools and hospitals to
the expansion of our global mission work, the
Seventh-day Adventist Church has continually sought
to share the love of Christ with the world. Today, we
are part of a vibrant community of believers, united
in our mission to proclaim the good news of salvation
and to serve those in need.

In this week’s sermon, we will delve deeper into the
story of our church, exploring the key events and
figures that have shaped our identity. We will
celebrate our achievements, acknowledge our trials,
and recognize the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in
our midst. As we reflect on our past, we will also look
forward to the future, considering how we can
continue to fulfill our mission in today’s world.

I invite you to join us in this journey of remembrance
and inspiration. Let us come together with open
hearts and minds, ready to learn and grow in our
faith. May this Sabbath be a time of renewal as we
honor our heritage and embrace the calling God has
placed on our lives.

Blessings to you all,
Pastor Raul
