He received a B.A. in Theology at Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas, a Master of Divinity from Andrews Theological Seminary in Berrien Springs, Michigan. He is also a credentialed A.P.C. Chaplain.
Pastor Christman was ordained to the Gospel Ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 2009. He received an endorsement through NAD Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries (ACM) in 2016. He became a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) through Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) in 2017. He is an active member of the community interfaith Ministerial Alliance. He has culturally diverse leadership skills (including conversational Spanish skills) from pastoring Anglo, Hispanic
and Islander churches.
Pastor Christman is married and has two children, his wife Karie is a Registered Nurse who very much enjoys ministry. 8-year old Benjamin is a bright and energetic second-grader. And niece Haley (17) is a hard-working Senior in the academy. Welcome, Christman Family! We pray that your ministry here in Lubbock will be a blessing to you, your family and to our Lubbock congregation.
May you find our church willing to work together with you to present the Good News to a community that longs to know the Anointed and Loving Savior.
