Dear Church Family and Friends,
As we turn the pages of time, September comes upon us with all the potential of brushing aside the heat wave. In its place we hope for cooler temperatures with heart warming worship and fellowship here at church.
Prophecy Sabbath comes the first of each month and on September 3 the message will be THE MARTYR’S TRAIL.
Sabbath, September 10, we see Leroy Green coming to the Lubbock pulpit with a soul searching presentation entitled DISTURB US.
Sabbath, September 17, the message will be JUST BONES. Then on Sunday, the 18th, an exciting time of historical discovery and ice cream is planned by the social committee as they launch a Trivia Pursuit-Road Rally and Dinner.
September Sabbaths close on the 24th when the presentation will be WALKING THE WALK.
What else sparks the Lubbock church flame in September? Let’s see – there’s the Men’s Breakfast! The Spaghetti Supper on the 4th! Then a 5K on the 25th with the Lubbock community in a “Let’s Move” day orchestrated nationally by Adventists In-Step For Life.
So come and let us celebrate the Sabbath and enjoy fellowship together!
