It’s that wonderful time of year again! I walk into Walmart and Office Depot and the first thing my eyes see are the traditional yellow boxes and green letters of Crayola. It is time to start planning for Operation Christmas Child. The students and teachers of Lubbock Junior Academy need your help.

The LJA students will fill plain shoeboxes with small gifts which can have a big impact. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is eternal. Be a part of changing children’s lives all over the world in Jesus’ Name through the power of a simple gift.

During the week of November 16 to 23, the LJA students will be packing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to send to children who may never before have had any type of gift at all. Please help us by purchasing items such as: pencils, pens, crayons, notebooks, coloring books, toothbrushes, bar soap, washcloths, combs, small toys, sunglasses, socks, hats, t-shirts, etc. to give to these children. Please leave your donations in the tub by the LJA bulletin board. Your help encourages our LJA students to serve others for Eternity.
