Dear Church Friends,

The windy month of March marches in with Texas Independence Day on March 2nd and the First Day of Spring shortly after.

Pastor Jeremy McCombs, from the Albuquerque ThreeAngels Adventist Church will be our guest speaker this Sabbath, March 3, presenting; “It’s Always Been Yours”.

March 10, our own Elder Robert Plant, II, will present an uplifting message “I Will Trust In The Lord”. The Lubbock Pathfinder Crusaders will commence their second and fourth Sabbath afternoon meetings on March 10 at 3:30pm.

I will be with you Sabbath, March 17, to share the challenge, “How’s My Commitment Under Fire?” The Texico Children’s Ministry team will also be here starting Friday, March 16, 6:30-8:30pm “Creative Arts Training” and Sabbath, March 17, with Children’s Church at 11am and VBS Training at 2:30pm.

Texico Prayer Ministry Coordinator, Pastor Jaime Calvo, will also be in Lubbock for a WeekOfPrayer March 17-24 with a theme: “Prayer Changes Lives”. Meetings will be at 7:00pm on Sabbath, March 17; Sunday, March 18; Wednesday, March 21; Thursday, March 22; and Friday, March 23. Sabbath, March 24, Pastor Calvo will be the guest speaker for the 11 o’clock hour presenting; “God’s Blessing Upon His Church.”

Sabbath, March 31, I will be back in the pulpit to celebrate Communion with you. The “Gospel of John” will be presented in the Fellowship Hall at 5:00pm.

February gave us joy as John, Maryann, J.J. and Giovanni Medina along with Ashley Morones became members of our Lubbock church family through baptism. March promises to be just as fulfilling so plan to be with your church family every Sabbath.

Sincerely,

Pastor Lee-Roy Chacon, Interim Pastor
Lubbock Seventh-day Adventist Church
