Several times a week our students play educational games to review, introduce or enforce a particular concept. The games include Jeopardy, board, card, or pencil/paper types of activities. The games allow our students to learn while having an enjoyable experience.

While playing learning games which aid with retention, they are also learning how to interact appropriately with other students. They can use these games to remember and apply subject matter to other areas of the curriculum. These types of educational games are designed to help students learn in a safe environment where everyone has an equal chance of answering correctly or incorrectly.

Sometimes our students do not want to stop playing a game, even to go out to recess. Some games are so popular, that they are played again and again with just a few rule changes in order to keep things more interesting.

Many types of learning strategies are used to encourage our students to become life-long learners.
