Church Family & Friends,

WELCOME to church today!

When was the last time you noticed a professional
athlete reveal in race or game just how good
he or she really was? Can you imagine
the amount of prep work it takes to
achieve that kind of skill/mastery?

Jonah in today’s sermon called,

“The Perfect Meal –
Jonah, Accept the Call (Part 4)
is about to show us how ready he is for the
“race” God has him in. And it’s here, in Jonah 4,
that we’re reminded of our own need for a unique
type of ongoing prep work… if we are to make it
through the tests of life.

May God remind us today of
His incredible ability to get us through!

With love,
Pastor Ray

9 But God said to Jonah,
“Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?”
“It is,” he said. “And I’m so angry I wish I were dead.”
10 But the Lord said, “You have been concerned about
this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow.
It sprang up overnight and died overnight.
(Jonah 4:9-10, NIV)
