Our students seem to always be moving. Some wiggle while they do their math while others tap to some inner rhythm with their feet. At recess times they can be seen running, jumping, singing and even falling. I don’t remember ever having that much energy or being in such a state of constant motion. I’m so glad our kids are healthy and happy enough to have that kind of vitality.09-22-2011

I believe we are ready for “Let’s Move Day,” tomorrow. We’ve practiced walking a mile, then a mile and a half. Monday, we walked a total of two miles. All of their energy and enthusiasm is going towards helping the North American Division reach its goal of one-million miles.

How about you? Are you going to make room in your busy schedule to help Lubbock Junior Academy walk a total of fifty miles? Inspiration says that “both our mental and spiritual vigor is in a great degree dependent upon our physical strength and activity. Whatever promotes physical health, promotes the development of a strong mind and a well-balanced character.” (Ellen White; Education, p.195)

We invite you to sign up for the “Let’s Move Day” activity. Who knows? Maybe some of the kids’ vitality will rub off on you.
