As you know, the LJA School Board voted to expand from a 1-8 grade program, to a K-9 grade program requiring a second teacher. This change could only be possible through the blessings of God and the support of this church family. Last Sunday, March 9, the Church In Business Session voted to approve the 2014 Church Budget as proposed, opening the door for expanding the Christian Education ministry at our Lubbock Junior Academy.
In due diligence LJA School Board requested the Texico Conference post a job position for a K-3 Teacher. As a result several capable, talented, committed teachers, all who share our vision for Christian Education, have been interviewed. Pray with me that God will now lead us to His choice.
The Gospel commission compels us to teach, and I believe this crucial ministry starts with our own children, equipping them as disciples for Jesus. This church, through faith in God’s continual leading, has been blessed beyond measure. As we continue to nurture and support these little ones He so dearly loves, teaching them to UPLIFT JESUS CHRIST, I believe “The Best is yet to come”.
