Eighty-two students in grades 5-8 from the Texico Conference church schools joined their voices at the Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church in Albuquerque, NM on April 2. They sang praises to our God. Many students also had solo parts and they sang as if God Himself were in the audience. This mass choir sounded angelic.
LJA’s Timmy, Madelyn, and Rebekkah had a special part in the program. Timmy introduced the duet which Madelyn and Rebekkah sang. Their harmony was tender and heart felt. I was glad they were able to have this opportunity to sing in front of a large crowd.
Please pray with me that these three will continue to use their talents to speak and sing praises to Jesus for the rest of their lives.
We made many new friends and wrote down some new addresses. Making new friends is all part of the fun of being a part of the Seventh-day Adventist school system. We’ll let you know how you can watch the concert when it becomes available. In the meantime, please keep singing and praising our Lord!
